Today, Iran filed an official complaint with FIFA, the world governing body of soccer, against the background of the American Football Association changing the shape of the Iranian flag.
In the complaint note, the Iranian Football Association asked FIFA to seriously pursue this violation, which the American Federation committed by deleting the word God from the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Iranian national football team is participating in the second group of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, along with Britain and Wales, and the US national team, which is preparing to meet it tomorrow evening.
