France's Stéphanie Frappart will officiate Germany's game against Costa Rica.
She is the first woman ever to officiate a World Cup game.
Al-Khour - The French referee Stéphanie Frappart of the whistle of the third German group game at the World Cup in Qatar against Costa Rica on Thursday.
She is the first female referee in the history of the men's World Cup to referee a game, as revealed by the appointment of the world governing body FIFA on Tuesday evening.
