The district league ice hackers of the Black Bears Freising played a strong weekend.
The revenge succeeded against the Munich EK.
Freising
– SE Freising ended the home game weekend with a 4:2 win over Munich EK and thus took revenge for the 3:6 defeat a few days ago.
"Our revenge week is only over when we have won against Dachau after Königsbrunn and Munich next Friday," emphasizes sports director Gregor Tomasik, who again replaced the professionally prevented trainer Nils Hanfstingl on the boards.
His team was dominant from the start and created good chances, but Jan Kumerics in the Munich goal seemed insurmountable.
That was also necessary, because Freising was allowed to play four times with a majority and could not use this advantage.
"We're too bland and not present enough," says Tomasik.
"We think we'll score the goals with a majority when we're lined up and standing.
But that doesn't work, you have to move around more and be active.” Linus Bernau still made it 1-0 in the first period (14th).
The guests also had some good chances - but Manuel Hanisch in the SEF goal was the usual safe support.
Freising player injured in the hospital
After the break, Severin Stippl pulled from the blue line and Sami Hamza deflected to make it 2-0 (29').
Shortly thereafter, Philipp Aigner had to leave the ice and go to the hospital after a check with an arm injury (31st).
The Black Bears were a bit shocked by this, didn't pay attention for a moment and conceded the goal from Yehor Vinnytskyi (35th).
This brought further unrest into the Freisinger game.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
In the final third, the home side failed to get the disc away from behind the goal – and it was already 2:2.
Christian Steinmetz scored (47').
But Stippl (49') and Hamza (51') immediately calmed the game down and restored the two-goal lead with a brace.
Even though the guests still had a short 5:3 majority (53rd), the Bears brought the second win of the weekend over time.
