Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced that the country's general budget increased by ten percent on an annual basis, during the period from January to September of this year.
The TASS news agency quoted Mishustin as saying during a cabinet meeting: “The federal budget revenues exceeded expectations during the period from January to September, and increased by ten percent compared to last year, as it approached 20 trillion rubles, equivalent to 19.3 billion dollars, and expenditures increased.” by 5.5 percent, amounting to about 19.5 trillion rubles ($18.8 billion).
"This is particularly related to increasing payments as part of the government's social obligations to citizens," Mishustin added.
