In the match that was held at Al-Bayt Stadium, the Netherlands national team defeated Qatar with two goals without a response, as the Dutch team began to threaten its Qatari opponent early, so it had an opportunity to score in the fourth minute through Daley Blind, who hit a ball, but it went over the goal, and in the 26th minute, the Netherlands scored Qatar with a goal Cody Gakpo, and in the 50th minute the Dutch national team scored its second goal through Frankie de Jong, so that the Qatari attacks followed after the two goals, but they did not succeed in changing the result, so the match ended with the victory of the Dutch team with two unanswered goals and its passage to the round of 16.

And at Khalifa International Stadium, the Senegal national team achieved a valuable victory over its Ecuadorian counterpart, with two goals to one, after attacking attempts, which it started in the eighth minute with a Boulay Dia shot after he was alone with the goalkeeper, but it deflected from the goal, and in the 44th minute, the Senegalese team advanced with a goal scored by Ismaila Sarr from a penalty kick.

The second half witnessed a great offensive rush by the Ecuadorian national team in order to adjust the score, and it was able to do so by its player Moises Caicedo in the 68th minute, but the Senegal national team returned to advance again with a second goal scored by Kalidou Coulibaly in the 70th minute, so that Senegal strengthened its defenses after that, and maintained its lead to end the match in his favor. And with two goals against a goal, putting his feet in the next round of the tournament.

The Netherlands and Senegal joined in the World Cup round of 16 to France, Brazil and Portugal, which have qualified so far.
