Ar-Rayyan – On the last matchday of Group B there will be a very special duel at the 2022 World Cup: Wales and England will play the "Battle of Britain", as the game is sung in the British media.
While the English are almost certain to qualify for the round of 16 with four points from their first two games, the Welsh (one point) are clutching at the last straw.
The team of coach Robert Page and superstar Gareth Bale can only reach the round of 16 if they win.
World Cup derby between England and Wales – "dragons" want to use minimal chance
Even with a win, Wales must hope for support from the parallel game (Iran against the USA, here in the live ticker).
If Iran and the USA separate in a draw, the "dragons" would be in the round of 16.
If there is a winner in the parallel game, Wales must win against England by at least four goals to have any chance of progressing.
Wales failed to impress in their first two games against Iran and the USA.
"I'm frustrated because we didn't show the performance that made it to the World Cup.
It's really disappointing," said coach Page.

There is no World Cup euphoria in England either.
After the 6-2 win in the opening game, Gareth Southgate's team showed an uninspired performance in the second game against the USA and let the Americans dominate at times.
As always, the demands are high in the mother country of football, a win against Wales is actually a must.
