Tiktukno: summary of the day's events in sports, 30.11 (Sport1)
After the impressive victory over Minnesota, Washington tonight (between Wednesday and Thursday) suffered its fourth loss in five games, this time 113:107 to the strong Brooklyn in a game that was tight and tense from the start.
Danny Avdia played 26 minutes and provided 7 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 block, when he already had five points in the first quarter, but he was not really a factor in the attack later.
The Nets, who were missing the injured Ben Simmons, only led by three points at the start of the last quarter, but Durant took control of the game, when threes by Joe Harris and Kyrie Irving gave the hosts a 94:105 lead, from which Washington was unable to come back.

Durant was hot as usual and led the Nets with 39 points in excellent percentages (13 of 20) after recording a season high against Orlando (45).
Kyrie Irving added 27 points and Joe Harris contributed 14 for Brooklyn, which recorded its fifth straight home win.
Three players led the Wizards offensively.
Kristaps Porzingis, who scored a career high against Minnesota in the previous game, excelled again with 27 and 19 rebounds.
Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma contributed 25 each but it was only enough to give a fight and not the long-awaited victory.
Washington will now rest for one night and between Friday and Saturday will be hosted by the weak Charlotte, hoping to get back on the winning track and return to a positive balance when their balance now stands at 11 wins and 11 losses.
Brooklyn improved its record to 11:12 and between Friday and Saturday will host Toronto.
