EV Moosburg wants to take revenge on ESC Vilshofen for the last-minute defeat in the first leg.

A newcomer with Bayernliga experience should also be brought in.

Moosburg – EV Moosburg still has a score to settle with opponent ESC Vilshofen in the last away game of the main round on Friday (7.30 p.m.).

In the first leg there was a bitter 5:6 defeat, in which the green and yellow slept through the first two thirds.

Then they started to catch up to 5:5 before conceding the sixth goal seconds before the final siren.

"We played 20 minutes and slept 40 minutes," remembers EVM trainer Benoit Doucet.

"Our two Canadian contingent players didn't perform well there either." The Moosburgers would still lack these three points to be able to seriously aim for fourth place.

That's why the coach is assuming that his team will be fully motivated in the open air at the Vilshofen leisure center on Friday.

Lukas Majercik will fill the second contingent position at the Dreirosenstädter.

The hosts had worked their way back up to the Isarrats several times, but always conceded goals in return.

The EVM managers may be able to present further support on Friday.

A striker with Bavarian league experience recently completed a trial with the state league team.

He has convinced coach Doucet of his abilities and should join the team from Dreirosenstadt if this is feasible and all the formalities have been clarified.

On Friday, the EVM in Vilshofen expects a team that is riding a small wave of success.

Because the Lower Bavarians won their last two home games against Selb (7:6 nP) and Ottobrunn (7:3).

By defeating the ERSC, they were also able to give up the red lantern in the table.
