Dutch referee Danny McCallie whistled yesterday (Wednesday) one of the most controversial penalties so far in the World Cup.
Poland goalkeeper Wojciech Szczecin got up and touched Messi's face with his hand.
The referee was called by his fellow VARs and pointed to the white spot.
As Danny McAleley watched on the TV screen, Censany and Messi were talking on the pitch and betting, would he whistle for a penalty or not?
The Polish goalkeeper said after the game: "We bet 100 euros, I said he wouldn't whistle and I lost. I don't know if it's legal or not. I won't pay him, he has enough money," he joked.
Although he lost in the intervention, on the lawn Chezny won big when he deflected Messi's kick, and in general, signed a great first half personally.
