The 4:2 against Costa Rica was probably the last game in the DFB jersey for Thomas Müller.
The Bayern player expressed himself emotionally and with a clear tendency immediately after the World Cup.

In every game, I tried to keep my heart on the pitch and gave it my all.
Sometimes there were tears of joy because of my actions, sometimes the spectators felt pain in their faces because the actions didn't work out.

Thomas Müller has scored 44 goals in 121 international matches, ten of them at a World Cup - more than Lionel Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo.
