Tiktukno: summary of the day's events in sports, 1.12 (Sport1)
Without a victory in the offseason in the EuroLeague and without Wade Baldwin and the suspended Darren Hilliard, Maccabi Tel Aviv meets Bayern Munich tonight (Friday) in the 11th round with the aim of gaining a positive balance and moving towards the top teams in the factory table.
The Yellows haven't won in Munich since 2019, and after the dramatic loss to Red Star Belgrade in the previous round and the jarring loss to Hapoel Jerusalem in the local frame, they will try to get back to winning ways on German soil.
Alex Poithers signed up for the game, despite the injury to his hand and is expected to get minutes.
Oded Ketch commented on Hilliard's suspension and Baldwin's absence: "We have a deep enough squad to cover their disadvantage. Players will have to surpass themselves. We really like Darren, he is part of us, but there is a team here that decides. This is a decision we made together."
Bayern Munich will be looking for their fourth win of the season at home and only their second at home, the only one being against Anadolu Efes, the Euroleague champions.
Will manage without Baldwin and Hilliard?
