The wrestlers of SV Siegfried Hallbergmoos could avert the risk of relegation with a home win.

Opponent Viernheim, however, is balanced.

Hallbergmoos

– Two more home fights, then the season in the 2nd Bundesliga South will most likely be over for the wrestlers of SV Siegfried Hallbergmoos.

Before the duel with SRC Viernheim on Saturday (7.30 p.m., Hallberghalle), there is still a residual risk of slipping into the relegation relegation given the three points ahead of seventh place - which would entail an extension of the round.

SVS boss Michael Prill: "We want to prevent that at all costs and therefore get another win."

Will that work against Viernheim?

The fourth in the table should be the stronger opponent in the end of the season, because in a week the Sixth Wrestling Tigers Rhein-Nahe will be present in the Hallberghalle.

According to Prill, Saturday's opponents have a very broad squad: "The question is how well prepared they come to us." When the band is full, the SVS is an outsider.

Heavy chunk for Ahmet Bilici

The SVS squad is stronger than last, but still a bit away from the best cast.

The Romanians George Bucur and Andrei Dukov should not be there on Saturday against Viernheim after their appearances at the national championships.

In return, Siegfried Chairman Prill hints at the return of Swede Ardit Fazljija.

Up to 66 kilograms of Grece he should have to deal with the strong Mirko Hilkert from Viernheim.

“It could be an exciting duel.

I see Ardit as a slight favourite,” says Prill.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Ahmet Bilici has to prepare himself for a tricky task this time in the heavyweight division: Georgi Lyubomirov Ivanov will probably step on the mat for the guests.

The Bulgarian - third at the U23 European Championships - has at least a weight advantage with 120 kilos over Bilici, who last weighed 90.5 kilos.

Therefore, the question arises as to how the hitherto strong SVS wrestler can cope with this disadvantage, says Prill.

Good news at Hasan Gor

As an outsider, Ergün Aydin (86 kilos freestyle) should start his duel - if he meets Sebastian Schmidt.

Even Ahmet Bilici had his problems against the top German wrestler in the first match and only won shortly before the end through technical superiority.

There is positive news from Hasan Gör, who was injured in the recent league fight.

"Fortunately, it didn't turn out to be that bad," reports Prill.

"Hasan could even play again against Viernheim." In his class up to 75 kilo freestyle he should have a feasible opponent in Arkadiusz Böhm.

In general, there are hardly any absolutely unbeatable athletes among the guests: "So far, they have scored above all with their great balance," says the SVS boss.

"Let's see how strong they come to us."
