One hand waves, the other keeps his mouth shut – this is how the guests of a Qatari sports program made fun of the German World Cup end

When a supposedly great soccer nation says goodbye to a World Cup early on, malice is certain - at home and from other nations.
In the sports talk show "Madschlis" on the Qatari broadcaster Al-Kass, the guests made fun of the departure of the DFB team and Germany's statement to Fifa before the first World Cup game against Japan.
A clip shared on social media shows many of the male guests waving goodbye to Germany, covering their mouths with a hand.
"The entire Arab and Islamic nation prayed today that Japan would qualify," said one of the talk's participants.
"But the most important thing today is Germany's elimination."
The caricature of a German team picture circulated on social media, in which the players were crying and covering their eyes.
"Goodbye to everyone who doesn't respect our Arabic and Islamic values," tweeted a user who says Saudi Arabia is her origin.
One user with the Qatari flag on her profile wrote: "Schadenglee at the worst scum in the west is mandatory."
The German players had covered their mouths during the obligatory team photo before their first appearance in Qatar, sending a signal to the World Football Association (Fifa), which had banned the "One Love" captain's armband from Neuer and six other European team captains in Qatar .
Fifa had previously threatened sporting sanctions if the multicolored "One Love" captain's armband was worn at World Cup games.
The DFB, like all nations participating in the campaign, is therefore not taking part in the planned action.
Again Özil pictures in the stadium
During the 4-2 win over Costa Rica, as in the match against Spain (1-1), there were various spectators in the stadium who had pictures or posters of Mesut Özil with them.
A video clip shows fans of the German team mocking them after the game.
Some German supporters allowed themselves to be provoked by this.
Before and during the 2018 World Cup, there was a controversy about the German national player Özil, who had appeared in photos with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan together with his national team colleague İlkay Gündoğan.
Unlike Gündoğan, Özil did not distance himself from the campaign after criticizing the photos and was criticized for it from many sides.
After the preliminary round, Özil resigned from the national team and denounced racism in the debate about him, including with the then DFB President Reinhard Grindel.
