On the occasion of the 51st National Day of the UAE, the second edition of the Bahia International Show Jumping Championship of the one-star category was launched in the capital, Abu Dhabi, with the participation of 150 male and female riders representing more than 17 countries.
In the first round that was held yesterday, our knight Shadi Gharib won the first place in the 125 cm category, and the knight Osama Zbibi won the third place.
A match was also held in this round for young horses at the age of 5 years, at a height of 115 cm, and at the age of 6, at a height of 120 cm, during which the rider, Sabri Badanki, won the first place, and the rider, Majd Al-Din Badanki, came in the second place.
In the second day's competitions, rider Osama Zbibi won first place in the 130 cm category, and rider Shadi Gharib came in third place.
The championship competitions will conclude tomorrow evening with the 135 cm Grand Prix match and the final match for the Young Horses Championship.
