The surprise of the night came when the Rockets blew out the Suns after a magnificent comeback in the second half.
Phoenix had a six-game winning streak and a more impressive roster, but in this game it was the heroes from Houston who didn't say desperate even when they trailed by 16 in the third quarter.
Jaylen Green, who also scored the winning point, led Houston's comeback with 30 points, while Devin Booker's 41 points were not enough for Phoenix to avoid a surprise.
Golden State (11:12) - Chicago (13:9) 111:119.
The champion gained a positive balance after a game that was practically decided even before halftime.
The Bulls did lose by a very reasonable margin, mainly thanks to 23 points from Nikola Vucevic, but they did not pose a real threat to the Warriors.
The winner was led by Jordan Paul with 30 points, with Klay Thompson adding 26 and Steph Curry settling for 19 points and 11 rebounds.
