Joshua Kimmich has digested the first shock after the World Cup.

The FC Bayern midfielder makes his fans hot with an announcement.

Doha/Munich – Joshua Kimmich and the German national team failed miserably in the group stage of the 2022 World Cup.

The historic second consecutive loss in the preliminary round was difficult for most DFB stars to digest.

Joshua Kimmich suffered particularly after the World Cup debacle.

However, the FC Bayern star has found courage again and sent an emotional message to the fans.

Joshua Kimmich was afraid of falling into a hole after the World Cup debacle

The shock after the bitter World Cup was deep.

Joshua Kimmich gave a deep insight into his emotional world after Germany's 4-2 win over Costa Rica, which was not enough due to Japan's 2-1 win over Spain.

"We're going back home.

Accordingly, I'm a bit afraid of really falling into a hole," said the Bayern star early on Friday morning (December 2) local time in the interview zone of the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khour.

"It's real for me," Kimmich breathed and finished with a trembling voice, "the most difficult day of my career." A day later, Kimmich sounds much more positive.

The Bayern player posted an Instagram post for the first time since the start of the World Cup.

Joshua Kimmich: Emotional message to his fans – FCB star aggressive again

"Once again we didn't manage to bring our quality to the pitch consistently.

I will need time to analyze everything, to process it and to draw the right lessons from it," Kimmich explained of his plan after the World Cup.

The 27-year-old should have enough time for this, as FCB coach Julian Nagelsmann has given the German internationals special leave.

They should only resume Bayern training on January 3rd.

The same applies to Eric Maxim Choupo-Mouting, who was eliminated with Cameroon in the group stage of the World Cup.

"In four weeks at the latest, it's time to attack again, because giving up is never an option," Kimmich is again aggressive as usual.

After the messed up World Cup, his goal should be clear: as many titles with FC Bayern as possible.

The European Championship season will start in the summer.

Kimmich is personally responsible for the World Cup embarrassment

"Fucked up in 2018, messed up the Euros last year," said Kimmich with tears in his eyes after the World Cup.

"I joined in 2016, before that Germany was always in the semifinals.

Then you come along and are eliminated twice in the preliminary round, last year in the round of 16.

It's not that easy for me personally to cope with, because I'm personally associated with the failure.

That's not something you want to stand for.” The next World Cup in 2026 will take place in three and a half years in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

Then Kimmich can do better.
