No one can confirm if this is a punishment by the Iranian authorities, but it seems that Alanz Rekhabi and her family paid dearly for the brave athlete's protest • Watch the house ruins

Just unbelievable.

The family home of the climber Alanz Rekhabi, who recently made headlines after participating in the Asian Championships without a hijab, was destroyed in protest of the strict dress code in her country.

Footage obtained by CNN from IranWire shows a destroyed building and medals on the ground.

The man filming the video describes what happened to the house.

The video also shows Alanz's brother, Daboud, crying.

Davod Rakhabi is a climber in his own right who has won medals.

How heavy was this film!

The man taking the photos - whose identity is unknown - says to the camera: "This is the result of life in this country. The national champion with kilograms of medals she brought to the country, worked hard to bring pride to the country and that's how they destroyed a 39 square meter house and left.

What can I say?"

CNN could not report whether Rakhabi's family home was destroyed by order of the government.

Neither the authorities nor state media commented on the incident.

As I remember, Rekhabi issued an apology at the time when she said: "The hijab fell on me by mistake", but it seems that it was a forced apology, for fear of a heavy punishment.

The fear, you don't see, has come true.
