SC Riessersee has fulfilled its duty and defeated EHC Klostersee, bottom of the league, 7:1.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen –

Three bankruptcies in a row, gone the self-confidence that has been gained, plus a restless week of training with the dissolved contracts of two players.

And then in the only game of the weekend, the so far winless bottom of the league is a guest.

The risk of embarrassment was never greater for SC Riessersee this season in the ice hockey Oberliga Süd.

But the white-blue mastered the challenge against EHC Klostersee and won 7:1.

After the 1-0 the big pressure is gone

The guests not only take last place in the overall table, but also in the power play classification.

Why became directly visible in third one on Sunday evening.

The ECH barely got into formation let alone a dangerous finish.

The SCR, on the other hand, booked it in the person of Luca Allavena, who just missed the 1-0 outnumbered.

The hosts then had the chance to show why they took first place in the majority tableau.

Was also visible, but not on the scoreboard, because Robin Soudek and Sam Verelst could not get the disc past Klostersee goalie Marinus Schunda.

Lubor Dibelka succeeded a little later, as he was only escorted by the guests on the way to the goal instead of being really attacked – 1:0.

Now everything went a little easier for the white and blue,

was the first big pressure then.

And with the second chance outnumbered, the doorbell rang again.

Schunda didn't look too happy when Soudek's shot went it alone, as he had a clear view.

Klostersee not at Oberliga level

At the beginning of the second third, the game was repeated again.

An SCR player took a seat in the penalty box and gave the guests the opportunity to put themselves in the spotlight on the offensive.

But again Daniel Allavena was not challenged in the SCR case, but it became apparent that the EHC does not have a premier league format - at least not on this evening.

The mode was then retained.

In the second period, the two teams rarely faced each other in five-on-five.

The places on the penalty benches were warmed up again and again.

Was the case twice at the EHC in the middle of the game, but the tail light successfully braced itself with three men against the next impact in their own case.

If both teams were complete, the SCR dominated.

Marlon Wolf made it 3-0 with a dust-off.

Guests collect plenty of penalties

But once that evening, the 15 fans who had traveled with the guests were also allowed to cheer.

While Veit Oswald was sitting for two minutes, a confusing situation developed in front of Allavena.

After wild stabbing, the disc tumbled over the line to make it 3:1.

But the joy of the EHC did not last long, because Felix Linden quickly restored the three-goal gap.

Then it was cozy on the penalty box of the EHC, three guest actors were given a break.

But the SCR made no capital out of it.

Worth seeing final point by Veit Oswald

The home fans were only allowed to celebrate again in the 51st minute, when Alexander Höller narrowly missed the EHC goalie and the post, but his new neighbor Tobias Kircher (previously it was Lukas Koziol, who left during the week) dusted off.

The guests then weakened themselves again and Simon Mayr scored SCR's sixth goal with a slap shot.

Licensed player Veit Oswald was responsible for the end of the evening, which is well worth seeing.

He circled his opponents like slalom poles and then carried the puck into the right angle.

Every storm line of the SCR hits

The Riesserseer celebrated a sovereign home win and ended the small series of bankruptcies, which is certainly balm for the recently battered SCR soul.

Oh coach Pat Cortina saw it that way.

"We were already there, we played good ice hockey and put a lot of pressure on." He was particularly pleased that his team proved to be unpredictable on offense.

"It's nice to see that every row scored a goal," emphasized Cortina.

However, one must also state that Klostersee in this form was simply not a yardstick for the ambitious traditional club.
