DFB: Crisis meeting planned for next week
Just like Oliver Bierhoff.
The managing director of the national team has to explain himself to the DFB leadership after the third tournament embarrassment in a row.
DFB President Bernd Neuendorf already said after the World Cup that an informative talk was planned soon.
“Our timetable stipulates that we will sit down together in the coming week.
This will be a first meeting where we will discuss how the situation is," said the 61-year-old.

National coach Flick and Hans-Joachim Watzke should also be present at the meeting next week.
The managing director of Borussia Dortmund has been vice president of the DFB since the beginning of the year.
According to information from the
Bild
newspaper, Watzke should now play a stronger role in matters relating to the national team.
This would be at the expense of the current managing director: Oliver Bierhoff.

DFB: Bierhoff admits mistakes at World Cup
The 54-year-old has been under criticism for some time.
The 1996 European champion is often blamed for failing to implement “The Team” after the 2014 World Cup title.
On top of that, Aus at the 2022 World Cup is already the third disappointing tournament in a row.

Bierhoff admitted to having made mistakes in dealing with the "One Love" issue.
DFB: Hansi Flick should stay
According to the report, the influence of the 54-year-old should now be limited.
Hansi Flick, on the other hand, cannot be blamed for the early World Cup due to his short tenure.
In the future, Bierhoff could then limit himself to his second field of activity as director and managing director of the academy.
Bierhoff has been an official at the DFB since 2004 and celebrated the 2014 World Cup title as his greatest success. (kk)
