The 1860 professionals, who are vacationing all over the world, are slowly getting back to everyday life: they are still allowed to jog under the palm trees, but not for much longer.

Running shoes instead of flip-flops, exercise mats instead of deckchairs.

Most of the lion professionals were recently long-distance travelers and on the road in the dream regions of this world (we reported), but since Saturday the fun has officially ended.

The first players posted photos showing them against a holiday background, but already on the treadmill or in sports gear.

"Start of individual home training for the professional team", says the winter timetable, which means: slowly get back in shape, because this point is on the program in a week's time: "Training start at Grünwalder Straße 114".

Michael Köllner: "Home game" when visiting a fan club in the Upper Palatinate

Before that, however, the pros swarm out again to visit their fan clubs' Christmas parties.

For players like Albion Vrenezi and Tim Rieder it will be a stone's throw (section Schafkopf in Munich's Westend), others will have to travel on next Saturday.

The Burgstall-Löwen won the lottery in Gleißenberg near Cham: Coach Michael Köllner, who comes from the Upper Palatinate, stops by and can report in advance how he wants to revitalize the promotion mission.

As a reminder: Only five teams in the 3rd division have scored worse in the last ten games - it must not go on like this.

First test date: Saturday, January 14, in Mannheim.
