In the Marcel-Cerdan sports hall in Levallois, where the (future) French basketball star Victor Wembanyama plays, amputee football players with crutches manage to dribble around able-bodied players.
They are part of the French amputee team which has just returned from the World Cup in Turkey, where it finished 14th (out of 24) last month.
On this international day for people with disabilities, the players are introduced to their discipline in the city of Hauts-de-Seine with young people before playing a friendly match against able-bodied Levallois on a floor the size of a handball court (and which is played 7 against 7).
The public is dumbfounded by the quality of their ball control and the way they caress the leather despite their handicap.
A real technical feat.
