After Seleçao's big victory in the round of 16, Neymar and his teammates sent a message of support to their illustrious predecessor.

Pelé's state of health has been questioning Brazil and the football world for a few days.

Despite reassuring messages sent by those around him on social networks, concern remains strong for the 82-year-old legend, who is continuing his treatment for colon cancer in a hospital in Sao Paulo.

So after the victory of the Seleção against South Korea (4-1) this Monday in the round of 16 of the 2022 World Cup, all the members of the Auriverde workforce unfurled a banner of support for King Pelé, winner of three Worlds (1958, 1962, 1970).

Many messages of affection from the Brazilian public were displayed in the stands of the 974 stadium in Doha (Qatar), where Brazil qualified.

“We wish him the best and hope he recovers as soon as possible.

We hope he was able to appreciate this victory,” Neymar said after the match.

After his penalty against the Koreans, the PSG playmaker is only one goal behind Pelé in the Brazil jersey (77 to 76).
