After it was announced that the 82-year-old Brazilian soccer star had been transferred to a clinic for pain reduction, his daughter Kelly came out with a vigorous denial: "Fela does not intend to say goodbye to his life in the hospital. My father is in a regular room. He is being treated for respiratory infection and when the situation improves - he will return home."

Only last Saturday it was reported that Pele, who is considered one of the greatest soccer players of all time, was rushed to the clinic for pain relief, this after the chemotherapy treatments stopped working on his body.

A few hours later, Pele himself issued a reassuring message on the networks, clarifying: "I am strong and full of hope and continue my treatments as planned. I want to thank the medical team and the nursing team for all the care I receive. I believe in God and every message of love I receive from all over the world gives me a lot Energy. Thank you very much to everyone for everything."

Now also Kelly, the daughter of the football legend, told the media that her father is not in danger at all.

"Fela is not in treatment to reduce pain," she said in an interview with "Globo TV", "My father is not at the stage where he is separated in the hospital. It is not fair that people said he is in a terminal condition, that he is in palliative treatment. Believe us: it is not that."

Kelly added: "He's sick, he's old, but right now he's being treated for a respiratory infection and when he gets better he'll come home. He's not going to say goodbye to his life in the hospital. He has a lung infection, because he's receiving chemotherapy treatments.

QUE O BRASIL CONSIGA O HEXA E DEIXE O PELÉ FELIZ E ORGULHOSO!

"My father is no longer young, so we arrived at a hospital. The hospital staff said it would be better if he wasn't in intensive care, so my father is in a regular room. It's important to clarify - his condition is not terminal at all."
