These are the words that Cristiano Ronaldo pronounced against his coach, Fernando Santos, when he replaced him against Korea, after the hour of the last group game, last Friday.

This was recorded by Portuguese television, one of whose envoys attended the coach's press conference on Monday to ask him about the incident.

Dismissed the claim of France for the disallowed goal against Griezmann against Tunisia

The FIFA Disciplinary Committee dismissed the claim filed by France for the disallowed goal against Antoine Griezmann, in the discount of the third group stage match against Tunisia, which would have led to a draw (1-1).

The decision was communicated by FIFA, which did not give any details about the reason for the rejection.

France considered that the decision of the New Zealand referee Matthew Conger to cancel the goal at the request of the VAR was irregular, since it was taken after Tunisia had already taken the center and, even, after the referee had whistled the end of the game.

In its argument, the French Football Federation (FFF) estimated that, according to the regulations, the VAR can only intervene after it has been removed from the center in very specific cases: "To carry out an analysis in case of mistaken identity or susceptible infringement of expulsion (violence, spitting, biting, hurtful, rude or insulting words or acts)".

The result, which was France's first World Cup defeat since the World Cup quarter-final in Brazil against Germany, had no impact on the competition as France finished top of their group while Tunisia were knocked out.

Murat Yakin (Switzerland): "It's an opportunity to make history"

The Swiss coach, Murat Yakin, highlighted on Monday the importance of the 2022 World Cup round of 16 match against Portugal, in which his team has the "opportunity" to make "history", and announced that there will be no specific marking Cristiano Ronaldo, of whom he highlighted his influence on his rival's game.

"Everything is ready, all the players are in good condition, all the injuries have been recovered and it is an opportunity to make history. We are strong and looking forward to the game," he said at a press conference at the National Convention Center in Qatar, in which he admitted that "expectations are rising" around his selection.

He hasn't reached the quarterfinals since 1954.

There will be no special marking of Cristiano Ronaldo.

"We are prepared, organized, we know all the influence he has on the team, but we will not make a specific plan to mark him. We will see what our strategy is on the field," explained the coach, who will decide between tonight and Tuesday "who plays "and that separated the duel this Tuesday from the last precedent, when they beat Switzerland 1-0 in the League of Nations.

"That happened six months ago. It's a long time in football. Cristiano also didn't play that match. There were different players on the field. To win you have to do a combination of several factors. We already know the opponent. We lost 4- 0 with Portugal away and we won 1-0 afterwards. We showed that we can face the big teams, be dominant and play our game."

Luis Enrique, against the 'topics' of the press: "We are going to continue playing from behind"

Ladislao J. Monino

The defeats sharpen Luis Enrique, who this Thursday decided to dismantle what he considers clichés in the press after a lost match.

“There is clear misinformation about what football is.

Praise is not worth it when you win and say that we lost against Japan for not hitting long.

Our objective is for the forwards to get the ball in the best conditions from the goalkeeper and the forwards have to press well so that the opponent can take the ball to our area in the worst conditions.

No option has been ruled out, if a long ball has to be hit, it is hit, but that interpretation has to be made by the player.

I buy the complete pack, it is the football that I like.

We are going to continue playing from behind, that is what has brought us to where we are", asserted the Spanish coach.

The Police set up a special device to avoid incidents in the match between Spain and Morocco

Patricia Ortega Dolz

The pitched battle in Brussels after the match between Belgium and Morocco in the World Cup in Qatar on Sunday, November 27, and which culminated in the victory of the Moroccans, has put the Spanish police on guard against the match that will be played by Spain and Morocco this Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. in the World Cup in Qatar.

To avoid any kind of violent confrontations between supporters of one team and the other, there will be a special device with reinforcement uniforms in those places where Moroccans have usually gathered to watch the matches of their team, such as, for example, Calle de la Montera in Madrid, according to police sources.

In Spain there are around 900,000 citizens of the Maghreb country, according to the National Institute of Statistics.

The Ghanaian Sulemana stars in the fastest sprint in the World Cup

The Ghana-Uruguay match on the last day of group H of the 2022 World Cup saw the fastest run so far of the 52 games played, led by the Ghanaian Kamadeen Sulemana, at 35.7 kilometers per hour.

Very close were Nico Williams and the Canadian Alphonso Davies, who accelerated to 35.6 kilometers per hour.

Sulemana, a 20-year-old midfielder for French Rennes, launched a sprint at such a pace last Friday, at the Al Janoub stadium, in the second half of the clash against the sky-blue team, without anyone having gone further in Qatar 2022, as a race unattainable for the rest, also for the Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, the German David Raum, the American Antonee Robinson or the Welshman Daniel James, who also appear among the best.
