"We want to make history," said national team captain Granit Xhaka after the Swiss group victory against Cameroon.

"We noticed the euphoria in Switzerland," explains coach Murat Yakin, adding: "It's a great opportunity to continue writing history.

We know our opponents and have already shown that we can beat them."

Switzerland was last in a World Cup quarterfinals in 1954.

Portugal's greatest World Cup success was years ago.

In 1966 they finished third.

It will be interesting to see who cheers in the end and writes history.
