And groundhog day: SC Riessersee met EV Lindau for the fourth time this season.

For the third time he kept the upper hand, this time with 6:3.

Lindau –

The list of differences between EV Lindau and SC Riessersee is long.

Listing them all would go beyond the scope.

But even if you only focus on the opposites in the duel on Wednesday evening, you can create a whole catalogue.

First things first: the result.

The SCR kidnapped the points from Lindau with an easy 6:3 win.

Robin Soudek scores from an impossible angle

The game would not have taken place three days earlier.

Because Lindau had to cancel his two duels at the weekend due to an acute lack of goalkeepers.

All four keepers were unavailable.

On Wednesday it was Dieter Geidl who guarded the EVL goal for the first time this season.

The keyword for the differences.

Because on the other side Daniel Allavena stood between the posts and did what was possible that evening.

In contrast to Geidl, who looked unhappy a few times.

So already in minute five.

He simply hadn't expected that Robin Soudek would shoot from the extremely acute angle after his shot.

But the top Czech scorer has already gained enough self-confidence this season to dare to do such things and scored to make it 0-1.

The second unfortunate scene of the Lindauer keeper led directly to 0:2.

He blocked a harmless shot from Simon Mayr to the side, but missed Kevin Slezak, whose disc he hit on the racket.

The rounded Geidl and put on Lubor Dibelka.

Lindau does not capitalize on the many penalties of the SCR

Another difference was the pass quality.

While the SCR proved to be relatively safe on this point, the hosts repeatedly got themselves into trouble with their sometimes completely screwed up pass attempts.

Or else they engaged in unnecessary duels.

Like before the 0: 3 by Christopher Chyzowski, when Luca Allavena stole the disc from a Lindauer.

A contrast that was also clearly visible in the statistics spoke against the white-blue team: the penalties.

Of these, the SCR collected 14 minutes, the EVL only four.

As a result, the Riesserseer repeatedly robbed themselves of their dominance in five-on-five.

Twice Allavena had to reach behind him, each time when he was twice the man (1: 3, 3: 6).

But in the end, the table penultimate made too little capital out of it.

Also the sloppiness

Six different goalscorers for the white-blues

His offensive, on the other hand, was much more purposeful and efficient.

Tobias Kircher's 1:4 was followed by Sam Verelst's 1:5 at the beginning of the final section.

This was again preceded by a catastrophic mistake by the EVL in the game structure.

Goal scorer Slezak also left the hosts unmarked at 1:6.

Although the Lindauers still reduced the lead to 3:6, the SCR's third victory in the fourth and thus last duel between the two teams in this main round was no longer in danger.

Striking again: Although the Slezak-Soudek-Dibelka series was the most dangerous with three goals, six different SCR players made it onto the scorer list.
