Real Madrid player Eden Hazard has officially announced his retirement from international football, following his country's elimination from the group stage of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
"Today I have decided to end my international career and I believe the next generation is ready," said Hazard.
Hazard played 126 international matches with the Belgium national team, during which he managed to score 33 goals and assist 36 goals.
