It is a PSG in a reduced committee which returned to training this Wednesday morning in Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

After more than three weeks of rest, the non-global players have returned to the lawn of the Camp des Loges in climatic conditions far removed from those of Qatar, where there are still eight Parisians engaged in the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

The thermometer showed just two degrees when the elements summoned for this recovery in dispersed order returned to the training center of the capital club.

There were around ten players present for this first collective session: Sergio Ramos, Hugo Ekitike, Nordi Mukiele, Renato Sanches, Fabian Ruiz, recovered from his injury to the left adductor, Juan Bernat, Sergio Rico and Alexandre Letellier.

The fourth PSG goalkeeper was the first to arrive, around 9 a.m., for the collective breakfast which preceded training.

The youngsters Warren Zaire-Emery, El Chadaille Bitshiabu, Ethan Mbappé, Ilyes Housni, Younes El Hannach, Lucas Lavallée and Hugo Lamy were also called in as reinforcements for this rather light recovery session.

Note also the presence of Presnel Kimpembe at Camp des Loges.

After spending several days in Qatar and at the Aspetar clinic to treat his Achilles tendon injury which deprived him of the World Cup with the France team, the central defender continued treatment on Wednesday.

No trace, however, of the Italians Marco Verratti and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Expected this Wednesday, the two players finally took advantage of additional rest after playing two games with their national team on November 16 and 20.

Two friendly matches on the program

The Parisian group will come to grow over the eliminations of the various Globalists.

The players all benefit from ten days of rest, at least, after their exit from the tournament.

Keylor Navas, eliminated in the pools with Costa Rica, should therefore return to training next week while Carlos Soler and Pablo Sarabia, released Tuesday in the round of 16 with Spain, are expected a little later.

Preparation will intensify next week with a first friendly match against Paris FC on Friday 16. Another is scheduled for Wednesday December 21 against Quevilly-Rouen in order to ramp up in anticipation of the resumption of Ligue 1 on Wednesday 28 December for the reception in Strasbourg.
