Jamal Musiala is one of the few German winners of the World Cup.

FC Bayern apparently offers a whopping salary increase for a contract extension.

Munich – Jamal Musiala was one of the few positive appearances in the German national team at the 2022 World Cup.

Despite the early elimination of the DFB-Elf after the group stage, the 19-year-old at least put a smile on the faces of the fans with his spectacular dribbles.

That could now pay off for Musiala itself.

FC Bayern is working on a new mega contract for his youngster.

Jamal Musiala: After the World Cup, there is a mega contract with FC Bayern

FC Bayern is well aware of what a jewel they have in their squad.

Musiala has already had 16 goals (nine goals, seven assists) in 14 games this season in the Bundesliga alone.

That is why the ball magnet, which only wanted to get one assist at the World Cup, was extended to 2026 more than a year and a half ago.

This is said to have brought Musiala an annual salary of 5.5 million euros, as reported by

Sport Bild

.

But that's not all: Thanks to various performance parameters, including having to play 25 competitive games for at least 45 minutes in a season, his salary has already risen significantly.

Musiala is said to be collecting around eight million euros per season.

With a steady development in the current contract, this salary could increase to around eleven million in the 2025/26 season, i.e. double compared to the first year.

FC Bayern is planning to extend the contract with Musiala – and is enticing them with a substantial salary increase

However, this would put Musiala in the middle of the Bavarian salary ranking.

The performance explosion of the native of Stuttgart, who has the highest market value in the squad at 100 million euros, should now be rewarded accordingly.

In addition, Bayern do not want to take any risk with an extension that a top international club will alienate their integration figure.

"Of course, we told his mum Carolin and his management before the World Cup that we were very happy with Jamal and let them know that we wanted to sit down with them after the World Cup to talk about Jamal's future at Bayern "Said FCB sports director Hasan Salihamidzic of

Sport Bild

.

The talks are scheduled for January as Musiala is currently on vacation.

Hasan Salihamidzic declares Musiala the new flagship of FC Bayern

“Of course, Jamal was one of the bright spots of this World Cup from a German point of view.

It's just fun to watch him play football," Salihamidzic said when asked if Musiala took the next step towards FC Bayern's figurehead at the World Cup.

After the World Cup, Musiala was looking for the right words.

“Playing a World Cup was a valuable experience for him.

As bitter as the early exit is, Jamal is only 19 years old and still has many tournaments ahead of him with Germany,” said Salihamidzic.

"You could see that he transferred this self-image, with which he regularly performs at FC Bayern, to the national team.

We at Bayern will do everything we can to continue to support him in his development."

CEO Oliver Kahn also joins in the hymns of praise: "Jamal is highly talented.

He has enormous qualities and at the age of 19 he shows them consistently at a high level.

He is also very ambitious and always wants to improve.

We're glad that we have him with us, Jamal is an important building block for the future of FC Bayern.” Benjamin Pavard is obviously no longer that.
