Unpleasant scene at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar: Cameroon's soccer legend Samuel Eto'o physically attacks a YouTube filmmaker in Doha.
Doha – Samuel Eto'o, legendary striker and current association president as well as Cameroon's FIFA ambassador, caused a real scandal at the football World Cup in Qatar on Monday evening.

On the fringes of the round of 16 encounter between Brazil and South Korea (4:1), Samuel the ex-professional (including FC Barcelona and FC Chelsea) posed for selfie shots with fans.
When a man with a camera came to film the 41-year-old, the situation quickly came to a head.
According to the Algerian football portal DZ foot, the YouTube filmmaker, who is said to be from Algeria, addressed Eto'o, among other things, about a controversial refereeing performance by referee Bakary Gassama.
The referee took charge of the World Cup qualifier between Algeria and Cameroon in March, and Cameroon won 2-1 thanks to a last-minute goal.
Gassama was later criticized in the Algerian media for some controversial decisions during the game that sealed the end for the North African country.

Although several people tried to restrain Samuel Eto'o, he broke free to confront the influencer.
Video footage, which quickly spread across social media platforms, shows Cameroon's football legend blowing all his fuses and ramming his knee into his opponent's head.
A video recording of the ugly scene can be found on Twitter, among other places.
In a video post, the injured YouTuber announced that he would report Eto'o's assault to the local authorities.
