Young forward Maxim Romanov (22, 2.02) is joining Hapoel Holon on a long-term contract until the end of the 25/26 season, the team officially announced today (Thursday).
Romanov, a graduate of the youth department of Gilboa/ Ma'ain, comes to Holon after three years in colleges where he played the first two years in Southeastern Louisiana from where he moved to the Rockhearts Hawks, where he averaged 11.4 points and 5 rebounds in 27 minutes per game.
The assistant coach, Amit Sharaf, commented on his addition: "We are very happy about the addition of Max on a long-term contract. Max is a forward with rare athletic abilities in the Israeli landscape, in addition he has the ability to carry the ball and see the game at a high level and has the potential to quickly become a significant player in the Premier League And even beyond that."
