Champions League winners Real Madrid are apparently about to sign Brazilian super talent Endrick.

As ESPN reports, the royals are said to have agreed a five-year contract with the 16-year-old and his parents and will pay his current club Palmeiras São Paulo a transfer fee of 72 million euros.

According to the Spanish daily Marca, the transfer is "on the home straight".

Endrick would probably switch from the Brazilian soccer champions to Madrid in the summer of 2024 at the earliest, since the attacker will come of age on July 21, 2024 and only then can he officially switch according to FIFA statutes.

He made his debut for Palmeiras in a 4-0 win over Coritiba on 6 October and just weeks later became the youngest goalscorer in the São Paulo side's history when he doubled in a 3-1 win at Athletico Paranaense.

Palmeiras ended up becoming Brazilian champions.

Paris St. Germain and Chelsea are also said to have had the child prodigy on their list.

With Endrick's arrival, Los Blancos would continue their successful path of attracting talented Brazilians early on.

In 2018 Vinícius Júnior came to Madrid for 45 million euros, followed a year later by Rodrygo.

Both are now top performers in the club and in the national team.
