Why Boris Becker is not threatened with deportation in Germany
According to the British media, Boris Becker is to be deported from British Huntercombe prison to Germany as early as next week.
The reason for this is the so-called "Early Removal Scheme", a program that deports foreign inmates in British prisons to their home countries in order to relieve the prison system and thereby save costs.
HEIDELBERG24 reveals why Boris Becker does not have to go to prison if he is deported to Germany.
The tennis legend was sentenced to two and a half years in prison by a London court at the end of April for delaying bankruptcy.
