Just don't lose your steadfastness: The Siegfried wrestlers - here Danial Matcovschi (red dress) - must not lose against the Wrestling Tigers Rhein-Nahe.

Otherwise there is a risk of going into the relegation relegation.

A draw against Rhein-Nahe is enough for the wrestlers of SV Siegfried Hallbergmoos to stay up in the 2nd Bundesliga.

In the event of a defeat, there is a risk of relegation.

Hallbergmoos

- It's the final for staying up in the 2nd Bundesliga South: That's how the wrestlers of SV Siegfried Hallbergmoos call the important duel with the Wrestling Tigers Rhein-Nahe on Saturday at 7.30 p.m. in the Hallberghalle.

Background: With a win, the bottom of the table could move up to a point on the SVS.

In addition, unlike the Hallbergers, the Tigers have another fight to complete in a week.

Siegfried club boss Michael Prill emphasizes: “I think they will win at home.

We therefore need at least a draw.” The Siegfried wrestlers want to avoid the relegation relegation that takes place at the beginning of January at all costs.

"Nobody wants to do that with us at all."

After the defeats of the past few days of fighting, SV Siegfried wants to compete against the Wrestling Tigers with the currently best possible line-up.

The Romanian George Bucur returns to the mat for up to 75 kilos freestyle – and he still has a score to settle from the first leg: Bucur conceded his only defeat of the season so far against Stefan Tonu.

This was relatively close with 2:4 points, but there should now be revenge in the Hallberghalle.

The outcome is difficult to predict.

Four individual victories are planned in advance

Prill expects four duels in which SV Siegfried should have the edge on Saturday evening.

Up to 130 kilo freestyle, Ahmet Bilici will most likely meet Erhan Georghe again.

The guest athlete is a bronze medalist at the U23 European Championships, but Bilici decisively won the first leg before the break.

"He's just world class," says Prill.

Danial Matcovschi (61 kilo freestyle, against Mohamed Eslem), Ardit Fazljija (66 kilo Greco, against Hyusein Bekir) and Ergün Aydin (86 kilo freestyle, against Valerii Toderici) are also clear favorites, according to the chairman.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Three times, however, the chances for Hallberger would be rather bad.

Prill sees himself as a clear outsider up to 80 kilos of Greco against Vasili Taran - and even up to 57 kilos of Greco and 71 kilos of freestyle should go to Rhein-Nahe.

"Here we have to make the defeats as close as possible."

Club boss Prill hopes for a large audience

In addition to the Bucur fight, there could be exciting duels up to 98 kilo Greco and 75 kilo Greco.

A hot day of fighting in the Hallberghalle is guaranteed - and it would have deserved a larger audience than at the most recent SVS home appearance.

Prill: “People demanded the 2nd Bundesliga – and now there is a crucial fight to be seen.

If not now, then when should they come?” Regardless of the result, there will be a small celebration at the end of the season together with the fans.

The highlight is the traditional raffle with a television as the main prize.

Fans of wrestling will get their money's worth even before the Bundesliga duel.

At 5.30 p.m. the second Siegfried team, which is peppered with young athletes, wrestles in the upper group league against TSV Westendorf III.

The opponent is not without.

But the young Siegfried athletes already put up a good fight in the first leg and only narrowly lost 19:25.

There's a lot going on in the Hallberghalle on Saturday.

After the strenuous season, the Hallbergmooser wrestler aces definitely deserved a stately backdrop.
