Allershausen

– Is there anything else?

The footballers of TSV Allershausen have blossomed in the district league 2, compared to the previous season, from relegation candidates to serious contenders for the promotion relegation place.

In an interview with the FT, coach Michael Stiller (49) talks about why things are going so well this year, whether the word "promotion" is currently taboo, and whether he has promised his players something if they participate in the relegation.

Mr. Stiller, is the word "promotion" a punishable offense in Allershausen?

(laughs) It's not an issue for us at the moment.

But we're happy that, being third in the table, we have a quieter preparation for the winter break.

And of course it's much nicer when you're on top than when you're standing in there and have to tremble.

Last year, at the same time, we were even on the bottom line, that was a difficult phase.

But this year the preparations went well - and now we want to stay on top as long as we can and in the end play for the relegation spot.

What ultimately comes out of it remains to be seen.

"We have an incredibly high participation in training."

What is different this season?

Point one: We have an incredibly high participation in training - there are always 15 to 20 people there.

We also brought really good people up from the second team.

That leads to a certain level of competition, and we can better compensate for losses.

What's also important is that we kept eight clean sheets out of 16 and had the second-best defense in the league.

Last year we never had a goal difference.

What are the main strengths of your team otherwise?

A great strength is that no one is jealous of the other.

Of course everyone wants to play, but we see ourselves as a team.

Everyone also works backwards.

It's going much better this year, no one is too bad about it.

What's more, we're playing a lot more determined up front this season.

If you are third, you have a chance of promotion relegation.

Will the TSV therefore upgrade staff again in winter?

If anyone is interested in joining us, please feel free to get in touch.

But we will not search specifically.

Unfortunately, we lose Jannis Pankau in winter, who is going to Hamburg for work.

Domenik Baller is available again for this.

It will be important for us to be compact as a team and everyone tries to give 100 percent.

Some prefer to put in 60 minutes and then be replaced.

Unfortunately, at the beginning of the season we played a little without concentrating – otherwise we would have been in an even better position.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Where is there still a need to catch up?

We still have to work on processing our chances better.

What we leave behind is serious.

And where there is still a need, the game is from behind.

Sometimes we still play the wrong ball at the wrong time.

Phongphat Khlongkhlaew discovering the Hinserie

Who has surprised you so far this season?

Actually, I would have to name everyone, everyone did a great job.

If so, then that's Phongphat Khlongkhlaew, who came from Eichenfeld before the season, was assistant coach there and played in the A-class.

He took me by surprise with his whole personality.

In a positive sense, he is a football fanatic and not above playing in the second team.

He has now scored goals in both leagues.

What will be crucial to achieve relegation?

That will definitely be the derby in Kranzberg on the first match day after the break, and then the game against Eitting will follow relatively soon.

We have to get off to a good start, you can draw a lot of self-confidence from a derby win.

Otherwise we'll just have to get back to our performances.

If we can do that, we'll be hard to beat.

is there a promise

What happens if TSV moves into the relegation?

(laughs) That promise already exists, but I won't reveal it.

That can be good for the team and they don't necessarily have to stay in Germany for that.

This incentive is already decided - but the relegation has to come.
