After the registration of Teddy Riner, the list of registrants for the prestigious tournament continues to grow • The Olympic champion Aaron Wolf will also come

The list of athletes for the Judo Masters competition, which will be held in the Arena in Jerusalem in ten days, is taking shape, and this morning (Saturday) the Japanese delegation was also registered, which will make the event one of the best and largest seen in Israel.

One of the prominent names that will come is the Olympic champion from Tokyo 2020 Aaron Wolf (up to 100 kg), the world champion from 2017, who won the Masters runner-up three years ago and is currently ranked only 21st in the world, after hardly competing in the last year.

Life will not be easy for the Israeli Raz Hershko (from all 78 kg), after the Olympic champion Akira Sona, the world champion from 2019, will land here, and with her Tsukasa Yoshida (up to 57 kg), the Olympic bronze medalist in Tokyo will take part.

About 400 athletes from 60 countries in the world have already confirmed their arrival to the tournament that will be held between 12/20-22/22 at the Pace Arena in Jerusalem.

As first published in Israel Hayom, the one who has promised to come to the competition is Teddy Riner, the French judo legend and the most decorated athlete with a record of winning the title of world champion (10 times) and 5 Olympic medals (3 gold and 2 bronze).

The ten athletes ranked in the world ranking in first place have already secured their participation in the competition, 5 among the men and 5 athletes among the women.

The sale of tickets on the 'Lan' website is still in progress, with the union promising a big event for the event that will take place during Hanukkah.
