One of the leading soccer journalists in the United States, Grant Wahl, died yesterday (Friday) during the quarter-final match between Argentina and the Netherlands, after collapsing inside the stadium.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital, but according to his brother the cause of death was not natural.
In the video he posted he said: "I'm Eric, Grant Wahl's brother, and I'm gay.
I'm the reason my brother wore a pride flag shirt.
He was healthy and told me that his life was threatened.
I don't believe he just died, but that he was murdered."

Wahl made headlines about three weeks ago, after the security personnel refused to let him into the USA game against Wales on the grounds that he was wearing a shirt with the colors of the pride flag.
Since that case, it is claimed that he has received threats.
Also, Wahl criticized the conduct of the Qataris on several occasions.
In the US, they emphasized that Wahl suffered from bronchitis, when he himself said: "My body told me that I wasn't sleeping enough and rebelled against me.
I was at the clinic and canceled everything I had on Thursday."
In his homeland they were shocked by the case, LeBron James tweeted: "My condolences to his family, he was always a fun person to be around, this is a tragic loss. I hope he rests in heaven."
