Round 8 has ended, 16 teams remain in the State Cup and all of them are from the two top leagues, for the first time since 2016/17.
The draw for the eighth final will be held today (Tuesday, 12:45) at Ramat Gan Stadium and will be broadcast live on Vala!

As usual, the lottery is completely open and every meeting is possible, when it is already clear that we will have a new cup holder, after the elimination of Hapoel Beer Sheva in Ashdod.
There will no longer be a Tel Aviv derby nor a Jerusalem derby, after the losses of the two red teams from the big cities, but the draw can provide a Haifa derby and also a Petah Tikvai derby on the purity of the National League.
The round of 16 matches will be held in the middle of the week of January 3-4.
