Manuel Neuer's end of the season due to a skiing accident put FC Bayern in a precarious position.
Lothar Matthäus clearly criticizes the Munich goalkeeper.
Munich – FC Bayern is looking.
After a replacement for the injured goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
Keylor Navas (PSG) is traded after the world champion's lower leg fracture.
Likewise Alexander Nübel, who is currently on loan from Munich to AS Monaco.
The fact is: the season was over for Neuer, as he said himself.
He, who will be 37 in March, can no longer take part in the fight for the Bundesliga and Champions League titles.
Manuel Neuer: FC Bayern goalkeeper injured while ski touring not far from Lake Tegernsee
Soccer record national player Lothar Matthäus has now accused the national goalkeeper, who was injured in a skiing accident, of being careless.
"It's negligent to ski on rather remote ski slopes that are not so safe because the risk can be calculated less," wrote Matthäus in his Sky column "That's how I see it".
He didn't want to criticize Neuer too much, "but that was similar to driving a car with summer tires in the dead of winter."
Neuer announced on Saturday that he had fallen while ski touring and had broken his lower leg.
According to

, Neuer injured himself on the descent from the Roßkopf (1580 m) in the Miesbach district not far from his adopted home of Tegernsee.
The mountain is located in the Mangfall mountains around 60 kilometers south of the Bavarian state capital on the Tyrolean border.

The Bayern Munich goalkeeper has already had an operation at the BG Unfallklinik in Murnau am Staffelsee.
Matthäus emphasized that he was "a big ski fan himself".
He knows “that it can be great fun in deep snow and you can also injure yourself on all slopes.
But it didn't really have to be," said the 1990 world champion in his Sky column.
Manuel Neuer: Lothar Matthäus describes Sven Ulreich as a "really good replacement"
Matthäus described the Neuer representative Sven Ulreich (34 years old) as "a really good substitute" with whom the "national double is absolutely feasible" for Bayern.
However, the 61-year-old does not see the 61-year-old as a practicable solution to bring back Nübel (26), who was loaned to France, due to possible costs.

Manuel Neuer: Lothar Matthäus advises FC Bayern to have an experienced goalkeeper
Instead, Matthäus brought up the option of signing an experienced goalkeeper "who no longer plays at his club or who would be satisfied with the role behind Ulreich".
He thinks "of the category of a Timo Horn from Cologne".
