Old warhorses in the World Cup semi-finals: Brozovic, Modric and Perisic lead the Croatians

On paper, the South Americans around superstar Lionel Messi (Paris Saint-Germain) are favored, but as in 2018, the Balkan footballers prove again that they can surpass themselves.

Led by old warhorses like Marcelo Brozovic (Inter Milan, 30), Luka Modric (Real Madrid, 37) and Ivan Perisic (Tottenham Hotspur, 33), the team of national coach Zlatko Dalic (56) is also the secret favorite in the emirate for the coveted title ascended.

Not only because of Perisic, who earned his money in Munich in the 2019/20 season, fans of FC Bayern should take a close look.

Because: As the pay TV broadcaster Sky reports, the bosses from Säbener Straße have allegedly contacted Dominik Livakovic.

The 27-year-old Dinamo Zagreb goalkeeper has so far excelled in the knockout phase.

Argentina – Croatia in the live ticker: Will Dominik Livakovic also advertise himself in the World Cup semifinals?

He saved Rodrygo's attempt in the penalty shoot-out against Brazil.

He even saved three penalties against the Japanese in the quarter-finals (4:2 on penalties).

Bayern, on the other hand, are looking for a short-term replacement for the 2014 world champion after Manuel Neuer's skiing accident, including a lower leg fracture. Would Livakovic be one?

Can he annoy the Argentines too?
