Big plans, tough demands, a lot of harmony, shards and a broken counter.

The Advent meeting at Türkgücü Munich was surprisingly eventful.

Munich – Türkgücü Munich wants to be down-to-earth, a club for everyone and everyone.

Still, they have claims.

"We can afford that as a regional league club," says President Akkay.

But whose ideas are always dangerously reminiscent of the declarations of war of days gone by.

Next stadium search for Türkgücü?

"Let's not be put off" - Akkay doesn't shy away from announcements

Looking for a stadium outside of the city?

"Let's not allow ourselves to be offered any more." Getting along with twelve games in the Grünwalder?

"The FC Bayern amateurs can still play on campus."

Türkgücü wants to build a new home.

A culture and performance center with several sports fields, a sports hall and an event location is to be built in Riem.

The plans for the million dollar project are based on the NLZ project of Max Kothny and ex-President Hasan Kivran.

The club is suddenly close to the KGaA times again.

The aim is not to create an NLZ, but a meeting place for cultures, maybe even an integrative kindergarten.

So not the same after all.

However, Türkgücü fears an outcry in Munich.

On the one hand because of prejudice against the Turkish club, on the other hand because of the megalomaniacal image that the club has been accused of since the embarrassing KGaA exit in the spring.

Professionals or amateurs?

Türkgücü Munich in search of their own identity

But the Kivran era is over.

This becomes obvious at the start of the year-end PK.

"Seven against two," calculates President Akkay with a painful laugh.

Only two media representatives found their way to the Glockenbachviertel.

Türkgücü had expected more crowds.

The official part begins with a round of introductions that catches the head coach off guard: “Yes, it's me.

Alper Kayabunar .... Alpi.

The coach.” The 37-year-old has been at the club for eleven years and didn't really know what to say, you know each other.

A fitting start for this PK.

Sporty, after all, the number three in the Munich district.

But the Alper Kayabunar team still trains at a district sports facility without floodlights on the grass pitch.

The coach dreams of professional football, but has extended his contract until 2025.

Nobody on Heinrich-Wieland-Strasse talks about the rise.

In the spring, however, the club was still playing in the 3rd division.

The boundaries between amateur and professional club blur at Türkgücü.

Mega plans from Türkgücü Munich: The board takes critical questions in a sporty manner – but there can be a break

Nevertheless, Türkgücü does not forbid dreaming.

Akkay's demands and plans are bold, so criticism is inevitable.

The president wants the best for his club, of course.

But does it always have to be the top drawer?

How does Türkgücü imagine all this?

That will be the case with the Grünwalder debates with FC Bayern and it is no different with the Mini-PK.

Finally, there is ample opportunity for two to ask critical questions.

The Türkgücü board takes it sporty.

"You have good questions," says stadium announcer Taner Güven.

But then it's time for a break.

After an hour and a half, Mehmet Tegmen says: "Did you actually miss the buffet?" Small break to eat something.

"Journalists riot at Türkgücü-PK" - first shards, then broken counter

It's just stupid when the journalists become uncomfortable during the break.

First I smash a clay bowl trying to dilute my black tea.

Selen Schaeffler, who previously saved me from drinking the tea straight (and thus possibly from a heart attack), sweeps up the shards.

Then it suddenly gets loud.

crash!

My colleague gets stuck at the counter and kicks a bit out of the wood paneling.

"Journalists riot at Türkgücü-PK!

You should write that,” laughs President Akkay.

We dare and take the opportunity to say "Affedesin" (apology in Turkish, editor's note) again for the damage to property.

"It doesn't matter.

We have craftsmen in the club,” says Akkay.

And Türkgücü seems completely grounded again.
