Five games took place tonight (between Tuesday and Wednesday), in the best basketball league in the world, when in focus Boston returned from Los Angeles with 118:122 after overtime over the Lakers, Milwaukee defeated the current champion, Golden State 111:128, and Houston stopped Phoenix.

Two of the biggest rivals in the league provided a real classic.
The game was full of runs, personal performances, scored in the clutch, and especially in a big drama at the end in the garden, the champion came out with a victory full of character.
The Celtics came after two straight losses but looked sharp from the start with a first quarter in which they scored 37 points and ran to a 20 point gap, but the Lakers got back to business with a 5:31 run and took a 12 lead, about 4 and a half minutes to go.

Not for the Celtics and Jayson Tatum, who responded with their own 4:17 run, including a tremendous basket by the star that made it 110:110 and forced overtime.

Boston's energies continued, and there it seemed that the Lakers already ran out of air.
Tatum finished big with a huge showing of 44 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.
Anthony Davis scored 37 and pulled down 12 rebounds, but also missed 2 crucial free throws.

Milwaukee Bucks (7:20) - Golden State Warriors (14:14) 111:128
In the meeting between the reigning champion and the one that preceded it, the Bucks recovered from a surprising loss to Houston and their opponent was defeated for the third time in four games, and the 12th out of 14 away games this season.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 30 and pulled down 12 rebounds, Bobby Portis also starred with 25 and 11 respectively, Khris Middleton added 20 points.
Steph Curry led the Warriors' scorers with 20, Jonathan Cominga contributed 19 and Jordan Paul 18.

Utah Jazz (15:15) - New Orleans Pelicans (9:18) 100:121
The Pelicans' winning streak was stopped tonight after seven games, thanks in large part to Lauri Markkanen, who returned to play and led the Jazz with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
A run in the third quarter, which Utah won 26:39, actually gave them the victory.
Zion Williamson scored 26 and pulled down 9 rebounds for the loser, who still leads the West.
