"Time traveler" revealed a video from the World Cup final - and the winner (@worldcuptimetraveller/TikTok)
It all started on 25.11 when a guy who claimed to be a time traveler revealed who would win the World Cup and shared a "video from the final" on the @worldcuptimetraveller tiktok account where he claimed we were getting an exclusive look at the results of the World Cup final.
In case you were not exposed to his video (which was viewed no less than 32 million times) or the article we wrote about him (which was read by about half a million surfers), he predicted that Brazil would beat France 2-1 in the final.
As you probably know, while France still have a chance of reaching the finals - having knocked out England in the quarter-finals - there is no chance of Brazil lifting the trophy, as they were knocked out in the quarter-finals by Croatia on penalties.
So what is his explanation?

It might surprise you, but the guy who posted the video didn't delete it and didn't retract the prediction.
One of the Tiktok commenters wrote to him: "Brazil is out, you don't travel in time. I'm waiting until you remove the video."
But the 'time traveler' refused.
In fact he even replied to this comment and wrote: "Dude, I made more than 500 euros from this video, I will not delete it."
So wait, we didn't understand - you want to tell us that this person is not a time traveler at all, and is just trying to make money from Tiktok?
We are "shocked".
On the Ladbible website that revealed his response, they noted that, to be fair, even these claims of profit should be taken with a very limited guarantee, considering that the guy has no problem lying shamelessly on the Internet.
