The international volleyball celebration continues:
the women's team of Hapoel Kfar Saba will host Eversa de Menorca from Spain today (Wednesday) as part of the European Volleyball Challenge Cup.
The game will be held in the Eric Einstein Hall in the green neighborhood, and the entrance is free (6:00 p.m.).
Next week, the team will go to the return match, and the winner of the summation of the two games will advance to the next stage.
As you remember, in the previous round the greens defeated Salo from Finland.
The expectation is for a full hall on Wednesday with fans who will push the women's team to victory.
The international games in KPS are held in a sporty atmosphere and the stands are populated by volleyball fans and families with children.
The team's player Anya Vilikki: "I invite sports fans in Kfar Saba and the Sharon region to come to the game and enjoy a sporting experience in an international game against a good opponent. We represent the city of Kfar Saba, and want to feel the crowd. The encouragement of the fans gives us a lot of energy and motivation. For me, this is a season Special, because I decided that this would be the last season in which I would play volleyball, and I would be happy if we did it with a double and great success in the European Challenge Cup."
Hapoel KPS coach Saba Devash: "We are expecting a tough game against a strong, technical and fast opponent.
But we are also good, so the chances are equal.
We want to make history and qualify for the Final Four;
With a supportive audience it is possible."
The Chairman of the Menorca Volleyball Club, Andreu Hernandez, sent an emotional letter to the Israeli club, in which he stated that they are excited for their first arrival in Israel to play against a historic and prestigious club, after a decade in which they did not participate in the European event. "We hope that there will be a great sporting spectacle and that fans of good volleyball will enjoy the performance of our great actresses".
