PSG: Neymar, Marquinhos, Soler… the return of the Globalists studied on a case-by-case basis

The players concerned by the World Cup are the subject of a precise analysis by the staff before deciding on a date to return to training.

More than a week after its collective resumption of training, PSG will play a first preparation meeting this Friday.

The capital club will be opposed to Paris FC in the morning (11:30 a.m.) behind closed doors at the Camp des Loges.

A match that should allow Christophe Galtier's men to get into shape in anticipation of the resumption of Ligue 1 on Wednesday December 28 against Strasbourg at the Parc des Princes.

The Parisian coach will logically be deprived of the players concerned by the World Cup in Qatar.

For the moment, none of the internationals eliminated from the competition have found their way back to training.

While Christophe Galtier had spoken of ten days of rest for players from their elimination from the World Cup, PSG will not, in reality, apply this rule to the letter.

The capital club studies each of the eliminations on a case-by-case basis.

The technical staff and the medical staff of PSG will take into account the physical and mental shape of the players after their exit from the tournament.

Paris therefore adapts the date of resumption of the Mondialists according, in particular, to their course in the World Cup, their feelings and their state of health.

Marquinhos and Neymar not expected on Monday

First Parisian player eliminated on December 1 with Costa Rica, Keylor Navas, for example, has not yet resumed training.

The goalkeeper, as well as the Spaniards Pablo Sarabia and Carlos Soler, released in the round of 16 against Morocco on December 6, should soon find the rest of the group.

We will certainly have to be a little more patient with the Seleção players.

The Brazilians Marquinhos and Neymar, eliminated in the quarter-finals against Croatia on December 9, will not be expected at Camp des Loges on Monday.

Their return date has not yet been precisely determined but the staff does not want to rush anything about them.

Neymar's right ankle, affected during the competition, will be the subject of particular attention.

As for the finalists Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé, they will already be absent for the reception of Strasbourg.

Their presence for the trip to Lens on January 1 also seems unlikely, as does that of Achraf Hakimi who is due to play with Morocco in the match for 3rd place against Croatia this Saturday afternoon (4 p.m.).
