With all due respect to the loss, a much more worrying thing worries the champion: two minutes to the end of the third quarter, Stephen Curry tried to steal from Jaylen Smith, injured his shoulder and went down to the locker room .
The star did not return to the floor and will undergo an MRI to assess the severity of the injury, and it is not yet clear how long he will be absent.
Even earlier, he was spectacular as usual with 38 points in 30 minutes, but it was not enough for the Warriors, who again lost to the Pacers, and with a fourth loss in their last five games, dropped to a negative balance.
Tyrese Halliburton led with 29 points, Benedict Matherin added 24. The champion got 20 points from Jordan Paul, missing Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson.
Dallas (14:14) - Cleveland (11:18) 105:90
Donovan Mitchell took revenge on the team that knocked him out of the playoffs last year, with 34 points, and the Cubs - who had lost eight of their last nine road games until tonight - delivered a good performance led by a 0:17 run at the end of the first half.
Lamar Stevens added 18 points for the guest, Luka Doncic scored 30 on the other side (9 of 23 from the field) but barely received help from his teammates, on an evening in which Dallas as a whole shot only 39 percent from the field.
