The view on the professional side of the Washington Wizards is far from optimistic.
The team is already on a streak of eight losses, fading and suffering from the lack of injured stars.
Even Danny Avdia fails to stop the snowball, and after another reasonable game of 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists, he is left with only a few compliments.
The largest of which came from the stands in Denver, just before the Nuggets beat the Wizards tonight (128:141), and it came in the form of fans enjoying the beer, but also cheering for the loss, as you can see in the attached video.

Beyond that, Washington NBC explained that Avdia was simply dragged along with his teammates to the ability to line up the lines, but complimented the effort he made when it was his turn to try to stop Denver star Nikola Jokic, who finished the morning with 43 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists.
"Washington tried at one point to stop Jokic with the help of Avdia, who functioned as a small-ball center, but even though he tried, he was not the solution either," it was written.

Commentator Neil Dalal also tweeted and wrote: "Abadiah was frustrated against Jokic, and was sure the Serbian had committed a foul on him. Coach Wes Anseld Jr. should have yelled at him to calm down."
However, at the end of the game, Jokic knew how to appreciate Avdia's effort, and the two parted with a warm hug.
