"Peißenberg Miners" again only part-time workers

Once again, the "Peißenberg Miners" only have one game to play in the Bayernliga at the weekend.
In the home game on Friday, however, they are clearly the favorites.
Peißenberg – It is currently somewhat difficult for the “Peißenberg Miners” to stick to the usual ice hockey rhythm (Friday-Sunday).
After the Bayern league team ended their two-week "part-time job" at the end of November/beginning of December with only one game each on the weekend the week before, the men from the coaching team Sepp Staltmayr and Stefan Ihsen are now only in action once again.
After all, there is a home game: It is against EV Pegnitz this Friday (starting at 8 p.m.).
The league management has put the chance for catch-up games on Sunday.
The EA Schongau is in action against the EC Pfaffenhofen.
Peißenberg Miners meet EV Pegnitz

The table situation allows the Peißenberger to go into the remaining ten games of the main round without much pressure.
In fifth place, nine points ahead of the ninth from Schweinfurt, the "Miners" are on course for the championship round.
"We want to win as many games as possible and don't get involved in arithmetic games," is Staltmayr's route to the end of the main round on January 27th.
Realistically, four to five victories should be enough for the Peißenbergers to rank among the top eight.
The Miners planned one of them for their home game against the promoted team from Upper Franconia.
In the first leg in the Pegnitz open-air stadium, the Peissenbergers didn't miss a beat.
A month ago they managed a real shooting match with 12:1.
In the EVP, who have the second weakest offensive in the league after Pfaffenhofen, there is actually only one really dangerous attacker in Roman Navarra (28 points).
"We don't look at the opponent, but only at ourselves," Staltmayr makes clear.

In terms of personnel, the coaching team can currently draw on plenty.
However, the possible commitment of Simon Gerstmeir from SC Riessersee has fallen through.
No agreement could be reached with the young striker, who already played for the "Miners" with a promotional license.
