Boris Becker: Confusion about his arrival after deportation to Germany

According to a report by

Bild

, the 55-year-old was only released from Huntercombe Prison near London early Thursday morning and landed on German soil in a private plane shortly before one in the afternoon.

It is currently speculated about his current whereabouts, contrary to previous reports he is said to have arrived at Frankfurt Airport.

It was also reported that Becker was unable to say goodbye to his fellow inmates because he had already been taken away in the morning hours.

He also left his clothes in the detention center and only took his personal belongings and private photos with him.

In the days before his deportation, Becker apparently left his sneakers, jacket and hat to his fellow prisoners.

Boris Becker: lawyer confirms dismissal - entry ban for England

Since mid-November, Becker had been approved for the fast-track deportation process, and after a while everything went very quickly.

His lawyer Christian-Oliver Moser confirmed the entire deportation process on Thursday.

“Our client Boris Becker was released from custody in England and left for Germany today.

He has thus served his sentence and is not subject to any criminal law restrictions in Germany.

The three-time Wimbledon winner can now get used to life in freedom after extreme months in prison in his home country.

He is not allowed to return to England for the time being, his entry ban apparently lasts as long as the original sentence would have lasted.

Becker's partner Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro lives in England, she will probably have to visit him in the future.

The tennis icon apparently receives a medium-high six-digit amount for this.
