FIFA pays the equivalent of EUR 9,600 (US$ 10,000) per day for each participating player from a club.
The compensation will be paid to all clubs where the respective professionals have played in the last two years before the World Cup.
The cash flows are recorded in a cooperation agreement between the world association and the European Club Association (ECA).
The regulation was introduced before the 2010 World Cup.
